In a versatile career, Kara Lindstrom has written as well as designed feature films. Her credits as Production Designer include Novocaine, The Supremes at Earl’s All-You-Can-Eat, Prey, Nyad, Den of Thieves, Lila and Eve, Safe Haven and Dear John, Polish Wedding, Cold Around the Heart. As Set Decorator, she has contributed to the look of numerous moves, including French Kiss, Strange Days, In the Line of Fire, and the Emmy winning Drug Wars .
Named as one of Variety’s “10 Screenwriters to Watch,” Lindstrom wrote the screenplays for Killing me Softly (directed by Kaige Chen) and A Time for Dancing for which she earned an Emmy nomination. Her novel, Sparkle Life, was published in 2006.
